UK

Postage within the United Kingdom, typically arrive within 5-7 days.

Postage internationally typically arrive in 12-20 days.

We offer a refund service within the United Kingdom.

We do not currently offer an international refund service, unless the order has not arrived or the order has arrived damaged.

United States-

 

We pay for the Delivery Duty Paid service. This means Duty is paid our end absorbed into our costs, so it arrives straight at your door without hidden fees!

What you see at the checkout stage is what you pay!

This is a trade partnership set up with the Royal Mail that is out of our hands.

 

Australia -

1. Customs Duty: 0% (Free)

• Australia’s customs threshold for duty is $1,000 AUD 

• Australian Goods & Services Tax (GST) (Free) 0% - (As we are under the $75,000 threshold for it, it passes straight through customs) 

• 3. Customs / Border Processing Charges: (Free)

• Border processing fees only kick in on shipments declared over $1,000 AUD. An example £100 order incurs $0 in handling fees at Australian Customs.

• Total Extra Fees at Door: £0.00

• Assuming standard delivery via Royal Mail (which is what we use), the customer will receive the package straight to their door with no unexpected border collection fees or delays!

New Zealand 

​

Customs Duty: 0% (Free)

• New Zealand does not collect customs duty on imports valued under $1,000 NZD (approx. £460 GBP).

• Scale models and toy collectibles fall under HS Code 9503.00, which is duty-free.

• New Zealand Goods & Services Tax (GST) (Free) 0% - (As we are under the $60,000 threshold for it, it passes straight through customs) 

• If order is under $1,000 NZD, standard Royal Mail International packages clear customs seamlessly and arrive at the customer's door with $0 door-collection fees!

Canada-

​

1. Customs Duty: 0% (Free)

Scale models and toys are duty-free when imported into Canada from the UK. They will not owe any customs tariffs on the physical models themselves.

2. Local Sales Tax (GST/HST): 5% to 15%

Canada applies its local sales tax to almost any import valued over $20 CAD. The exact tax percentage depends entirely on which province the buyer lives in:

• Alberta, NT, NU, YT: 5% GST

• Ontario: 13% HST 

• British Columbia: 5% GST + 7% PST = 12% 

• Quebec: 5% GST + 9.975% QST = ~15% 

• Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, NL: 15% HST

3. Canada Post Handling Fee: $9.95 CAD (~£5.70)

Canada Post handles delivery on the Canadian side. When customs assesses tax on a parcel, Canada Post charges a flat administrative fee of $9.95 CAD to collect that tax from the recipient.

Example

On a example $100 order, a Canadian living in Alberta would pay $14.65 release fee.

​

As the post handling fee is a flat rate of $9.95, it may be worth a single larger order, vs various smaller orders for cost effectiveness. As that $9.95 would still be paid on a $10 order vs $200 order as an example.
