Description

Copper Pot Still

Copper stills were first introduced in 1640.  Copper was used as it conducts heat well, improves scent and reduces bacterial contamination. Famed from the moonshine era in America, these copper riveted stills popped up around the world, producing high % ABV spirits with a relatively small outlay.
Although used in well ventilated areas, these
stills contributed to many explosions and fires resulting in many accidents.

Add that extra detail to your early 18th & 19th century era layout.
